How do Umrah performers come?
Through the Electronic Path of the Umrah by virtue of the Crown Prince Directive No. 21/22/11/20239U dated 22-23.03.1428 AH and Directive No. 12923 dated 03.02.1433 AH.
When does the Umrah season begin?
On the first day of Safar of each year pursuant to the Royal Order No. 20310/B/H dated 27.12.1420 AH.
When does the Umrah season end?
On the fifteenth of Shawwal of each year pursuant to the Royal Order No. 20310/B/H dated 27.12.1420 AH.
What is the deadline of receiving the Umrah visa application?
The last day of Shaaban of each Hijri year in coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
What is the deadline for the individuals holding Umrah visas to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
The last day of Ramadan of each year.
What is the deadline for Umrah performers to leave the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without being considered in violation as for the Umrah companies?
The end of their relevant program.
How long is the Umrah performer allowed to stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
Only one month pursuant to the Royal Order No. 20310/B/H dated 27.12.1420 AH.
What are the illegal overstay norms because of which Umrah companies are not activated?
A percentage of +1% (500) illegal overstayers pursuant to the Letter of the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, No. U/73405 dated 4-5.12.1430 AH.
What is the period allowed between issuing the approval of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on the visa application through the Electronic Path and approaching the embassy by the Umrah performer to get the visa?
15 days in coordination with the Saudi of Foreign Affairs.
What is the period allowed between issuing the visa from the Saudi embassy and entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
One month, from Safar to Jumada al-Thani, after which it would be 15 days.
What is the deadline for authenticating the foreign agencies contracts?
The last day of Jumada al-Thani of each Hijri year, by virtue of the Ministry of Haj's controls approved by the Crown Prince.
What are the most important controls of the foreign agencies work?
1.It shall be approved by an official authority in its state in accordance with the provisions of the Umra Services Law.
2.It shall be a member in IATA. Pursuant to the coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3.It shall pay the value of the bank guarantee to the Saudi company.
4.It shall not issue electronic payment vouchers to any company subject to any kind of administrative stoppage or stoppage due to contravening the controls.
5.It shall comply with all norms related to providing Umrah performance services.
6.It shall not provide the packages of services in the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What are the most important measures and norms of providing services?
1-The operational plan shall be approved by the ministry.
2-The packages of services shall be approved.
3-The overseas agents contracts shall be authenticated.
4-No Umra visa shall be given to a woman without an unmarriageable person or to a group of women.
Mu’tamir’s Loss of Passport Procedures
​In case you lose your passport, you should take the following steps in order to obtain a travel document from your embassy allowing you to leave the country: You should report the loss of passport incident to the police station located within the area where you have lost your passport. The police station will give you a police record confirming the loss of your passport. Then, you should submit the police record to your travel agency. Your travel agency will accordingly give you a printed document with your information; the travel agency must affix its seal to that printed document. Your travel agency will handle the rest of the procedures in connection with obtaining the travel document. After that, either your travel agency or you should visit your embassy while having with you (1) the police record confirming the loss of your passport, and (2) the printed document sealed by the travel agency. At that point, your embassy will issue for you the travel document, by virtue of the police record confirming the loss of passport incident and the printed document issued and sealed by your travel agency; it is preferred that you have other documents confirming the validity of your information such as your ‘Identity Card’ or ‘Work Permit’. Your travel agency or you will then go to the Expatriates Affairs Department located in your area in order to obtain their seal on the travel document so that you can travel back to your country.​
