Minister of Hajj and Umrah thanks the government
JEDDAH: Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Muhammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, thanked the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the crown prince, Defense minister, deputy premier and chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, prince Muhammad Bin Salman, for the decision to restructure visit visa, Hajj, which also includes cancelling the fees of repeating Umrah.
Benten said that the decision shows the leadership keenness to facilitate the arrival of Muslims from all over the world to perform Hajj and Umra. He said that the kingdom is ready to receive the increasing number of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims through the giant infrastructure projects and to develop the service mechanism in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites.
Benten said that the decision supports the efforts to achieve one of the main goals of Kingdom’s vision 2030 to receive 30 million Umrah pilgrims by year 2030.
